How to join a Global Village team

 

Open Team: If you are wanting to join an Open Team you will need to contact the team leader for information on the build and complete an informal interview. If you are successful, the team leader will then send you all the required forms and payment advice.

Closed Team: If you have been invited to participate in a closed team, the team leader will send you all the required forms and payment advice. This is often after an informal interview has taken place.

Forms Required
1. Registration Form
2. Declaration and Waiver Form
3. Child Protection Form

We also require each participant to send in a photocopy of their current passport and complete a Police Check.

All forms need to be completed and submitted to Habitat for Humanity Australia by post or email to global.village@habitat.org.au or fax.

Registration Deposit
To secure a place on a team the participant is required to pay a deposit of $150. The deposit is non-refundable but is transferable. Deposit payment can be made via cheque, credit card or account transfer

Include participant’s name and GV Code on the back of the cheque.

Download PDF file "Volunteer Program Credit Card Payment" and fax to (02) 9919 7088. 

After HFH Australia receives all forms and the Registration Deposit, you will be sent an Orientation Package which will include your Constituent ID# and GV Code for further payments.
