In Memory of Casey Kinnaird

In memory of the amazing and beautiful Casey Kinnaird who was an incredibly positive and generous person with a vivacious energy and spirit. Her zest for life was apparent in everything she did from driving her own successful business forward to her role as Crusader with the League and the volunteer work she was deeply involved in.

We were all incredibly blessed to have known Casey and she was a person who was able to touch the lives of all she knew. In honour of Casey, we would like to invite you to make a donation to her chosen charity of choice, Habitat for Humanity, rather than send flowers.

A celebration of Casey’s life will be held
Thursday 6th, February 2014 at 6.30am
at Elouera Surf Club - Mitchell Road Cronulla

Thank you again for helping us to celebrate the vivacious, generous, loving spirit Casey was. She will forever be in our hearts and minds.

17/02/2014Thank you to everyone for donating to this cause. We know how much Casey enjoyed her time in Cambodia in October and how much she looked forward to helping again with us as a family in Nepal this year. In Caseys honour we are going to try and get to that build and do our daughter/sister proud. We cant thank everyone enough for the messages of support and love throughout this time. Much love to you all the Kinnaird family.Kinnaird Family
6/02/2014Casey, it was amazing to have met you as part of the 'Aussie' team in the Cambodian Mekong build. You had such a warm & strong character and i was instantly encapsulated by your enormous smile and gentle sense of humour. You were a great friend for the time we had in Cambodia, a passionate, proud business woman and a nurturing kind lady that wanted to give to others. You spoke about your willingness to do more to help in the future. It seems apt that i'm wearing our house bracelet today. May your smile be remembered always and continue to shine through as an angel above no doubt- helping others. Love and thoughts with those closest to you. Love SimoneSimone Bortolin
26/01/2014So many people I speak to have told of their snippets of time that they spent with you where you have left on imprint on their lives and changed them forever. I will never forget the hours on the bike we spent together or the long drives to your first triathlons where we agreed that everything happens for a reason. You are so truly and heartbreakingly missed and have changed lives forever. I watch the sunrise off Cronulla every day and think of you and smile. C'mon chick, lets get this done xM
17/01/2014Casey, it was an honour to walk this world with you.You are an angel and I pray for your family that they will find peace during this time. You were taken way to young and with the world at your feet. May we now love the legacy you left. Generous spirit, passionate, caring, love of others and that wicked smile and ability to make a room shine.Klinton Hoare
17/01/2014I could not believe it when I heard the news. I am saddened to know that it is true. I had the honor of working alongside Casey on house 11 at the Smile Village. She was always hard working, caring and jovial, and she always mamaged a big smile on her face. On the way back home, we were on the same flight to Singapore where we got the chance to spend some time talking. She was really looking forward to going on the 2014 Everest Build where she was going to pursuade her family to join her as she felt that the Mekong Big Build was such an amazing experience. Even if it was for a few short days in Cambodia, it was a truly a pleasure to be able to spend time with Casey. I miss you, Casey. I will always cherish the memories of the fun times in Cambodia.Kio

16/01/2014I always hope to see my team members again but today it was shocked to hear this sad news. Casey, you were hard working, kind and friendly. It was great to know and work with you as the interpreter during the Mekong big build in Cambodia. I will always remember you and your kindness in helping cambodian poor people who cannot afford the suitable house.Senghong Torn
