Habitat For Humanity Australia

Our Work

Habitat for Humanity Australia (HFHA) is an independent non-profit organisation working to reduce housing poverty and be a recognised voice on the right to shelter. HFHA supports projects in both Australia and overseas.

Our International Program

HFHA currently supports integrated community development projects in five countries across Asia. While HFHA's core expertise lies in shelter provision, our international program is designed to address multidimensional aspects of poverty, including  shelter security, community health, economic security, governance and education needs.

Our Australia Program

In Australia, HFHA assists low-income households achieve their dream of building and owning their own home. More than100 homes have been completed in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.

Habitat for Humanity Australia's National Office in Sydney acts as a resource centre and facilitator for all projects throughout Australia. An international Board of Directors determines HFHA's policy and monitors Habitat for Humanity operations around the world.
