Habitat for Humanity Australia is a proud partner of Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development (AYAD) and Australian Volunteers for International Development (AVID), coordinating a range of volunteer placements in developing countries throughout the Asia-Pacific region. AYAD and AVID are funded by the Australian Government's overseas aid agency, AusAID, as part of the Australian Volunteer Program. The program also includes Australian Business Volunteers and Australian Volunteers International.


Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development

The Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development (AYAD) program sends young Australians aged 18 – 30 on short term volunteer assignments (3 – 12 months) throughout Asia, the Pacific and Africa. These assignments are part of the Australian Volunteers for International Development program, an Australian Government AusAID initiative.
