Homes Under Construction

Habitat currently has four homes under construction; two in the Playford Alive area, one in Murray Bridge and a transportable home which will be located on land to be decided on completion. 

Para West Shed

The Habitat Shed @ Para West operates various programs during the working week where students, long term unemployed and members of the community can participate in hands on activities, spend time engaged in projects such as woodwork, metalwork, personal or group projects. Participants work together to complete larger scale projects for the shed or the community. The Habitat Shed has a fully equipped woodwork and metal work area where you can work on your own projects or join in group activities.

If you wish to get involved or just come and check it out, The Shed is located at the Para West Adult Campus Gate 4 Edgecombe Road, Davoren Park or contact the Habitat Shed Coordinator, Russ on 0423 774 166. 

Brush With Kindness

In 2011 Habitat for Humanity commenced its ‘Brush with Kindness’ program. This program has already assisted a number of families in their time of need, undertaking small building and maintenance projects. Habitat has partnered with Seeds Uniting Church at Aberfoyle Park who have a number of volunteers assisting local families in need.
