📬 Impact Stories from Overseas | We are improving health and hygiene for students in Cambodia. 🧼⁠

Students in Cambodia have had significant repairs done to one of their classrooms, along with the construction of handwashing facilities and the facilitation of a hygiene education program, thanks to the work of our implementing partner Habitat for Humanity Cambodia. This project is in partnership with @DFAT’s #ANCP, Habitat Cambodia and ANSA homes. ⁠

Every home build self-reliance. In partnership with @dfat ’s #ANCP, our implementing partner Habitat for Humanity Cambodia has built another home for Huch through our New Start New Life project. Huch's daughter was born deaf and with other disabilities, this has limited his earning capabilities to support his family and to repair their home. After partnering with Habitat Huch now has a home that is safe and secure for his family. ⁠

🏠 As an organisation that works to support vulnerable people access safe shelter we know the vital role a safe home plays in one’s physical and mental wellbeing.

❤️Staying at home is our best defence against the virus however not all of us are living in a safe and secure home. Whether it’s inadequate housing, homelessness, over-crowded housing, hostile living conditions, domestic violence, whatever the conditions are we recognise that we are all in the same storm but the not the same boat.

🏡Our homes have never been more vital to our health in every sense of the word as they are today. Please check in with loved ones and friends and ask them if they are ok.
