The need
In 2021 Victoria was impacted by storms in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne. 98 homes were left uninhabitable and a further 86 had been significantly damaged. Habitat for Humanity Australia and our volunteers are on the ground helping families through our Build Back program supporting Aussie families by removing debris and repairing properties.

About the program
Habitat is running volunteer days helping vulnerable to tidy their properties. This includes minor repairs and cutting up and removal of tree debris, the homeowners are unable to do these tasks themselves due to factors beyond their control.
