Brush with Kindness

The Brush with Kindness program mobilises teams of volunteers to conduct landscaping and minor repairs to the exterior of homes of people who may be disadvantaged, disabled or socially isolated. It is a ‘backyard blitz’ style activity where teams between 10-15 can get out of the office and get their hands dirty! This is a great team-building experience for corporate volunteer groups. Find out more here.

Local Village

Our volunteer program Local Village is a 4-day volunteer trip to the Southern Highlands (Sydney) in New South Wales where any individual can join a team of volunteers on a life-changing adventure to come together to help rebuild communities who were affected by the 2019 Bushfires. The next trip is on December 10-13th 2020. Find out more here.

Bushfire Recovery Program

Individual volunteer opportunities are now available in New South Wales and South Australia for those who are looking to support Aussie families affected by the Bushfires by offering their time for one day during the week. For more information on how to sign up please click here.

Locals in the small, tight knit Southern Highlands community watched with interest as the land they were building on had been unoccupied prior to them arriving. Due to the tough terrain and unforgiving Aussie weather, one neighbour even placed a friendly bet that they ‘wouldn’t […]

Dierdre and Dennis

Dierdre is leaning slightly on her walking stick, warm coat and bobble hat a shield against the sunny but still mountain-cold afternoon. “Beautiful,” she says appreciatively as she looks at the shiny new wire mesh boundary fence just being given its finishing touches by two Habitat for Humanity Australia volunteers who have worked on it […]
